Furthermore, these tools are not tailored to meet the needs of small businesses, making them less efficient and cost-effective.

According to my interviews, these are the three biggest pain points.

What did i find?

No consistency in who receives the goods.
Tracking an old invoice is a difficult task and time consuming.
They usually do not keep track of what has been paid and what has not.

Market Research

I look into 3 main fields to define basic features in my app. ( Finance, Invoice management and Doc scan).

Design Phase

I usually start the design process with low fidelity wireframes. Then I was able to clearly define the basic features and main user journey of the app.

What can users do in the app?

1. Adding documents
2. Pay suppliers.
3. Tracing who received the goods.
4. Payment history for each supplier

My goal was to make the app look professional, clean easy to navigate.

Look & feel

Final design elements:

1. Using dark theme with purple as my main color
2. Rounded edges and circles for a friendlier look
3. Dynamic chart bar as the main component to help with the learning curve
4. Scan button on the nav bar as the main action for the users.
